Who is behind the scenes?

Me, I’m a songwriter amongst many other things. Writing has been my outlet for as long as I can remember; love songs, raps, diaries, stories, philosophies, game concepts, basically anything you can write creatively.

The problem was always the same: how do you make words reach people when the work needed to create the actual packaging, is something that is not only not my strength, but something that requires so much focus in time that it means sacrificing other dreams.

So despite this not being my only desire, when I discovered I could turn text, ideas, and intentions into full songs, complete with voices, production, and emotion, I found a meaningful medium in AI song creation. I agree to those who say, it’s not real or have other doubts, but I have also never pretended it is.

AI will not be able to recreate one thing (as far as we haven’t cracked the code to AGI) which is to translate actual inner emotions, through the channel of technical skill, into a similar resonance of emotion in others.

That’s what it is in the end, when a human hand draws art, it feels something in every stroke, which accumulates to a vast symphony in our minds and hearts (if we have the „eye“ for it, if we share certain similarity with the artists, no matter what it should be, traumas, dreams, received love, hardships, emotions…and of course if we value those emotions for us).

When a musician sings with their soul because they feel the words they are bringing to us, then we feel the resonance brought to us. Sometimes even without even understanding the words, because the frequency and tonal delivery is sometimes message enough for us to understand and emphasize, some ancient way of communicating takes place and we are connected. But all of that being said, it not only requires confidence in opening up the channel so that emotions can flow clearly, but also the technical skill needed to package it into a „correct“ format, notes harmonizing and sounding right, every stroke making sense and not just being out of insecurity or technical knowledge gap. An author writing having a vision and not running in loops evading key events that create this satisfying feeling in the reader, a movie having a journey thought through no matter if a one minute clip or three hour movie. Everyone with emotion can bring it forward and it can resonate in someone else but not everyone can offer the professional packaging or afford to find one who can do so, that would eventually be felt by many, because only a handful of people do truly appreciate the missing perfection in art but I believe it will potentially rise with AI. So even without a great packaging yes, there are individuals who see the art in human flaw itself.

And of course I am not giving up on singing, there will be ways in how I will be able to optimize my singing with a more simplified workflow and bring out my messaging with my singing, with my vocals.

But this right now is a tool. It’s a tool that supports a productive aspect and allows for the emergence of something, we haven’t had so far or at least not to this extent, because we „always“ had procedural sounds, auto tune or other electronic tools to shape sound for us to sound better or „pretend“ it’s music.

When you hear the music I create, you’ll eventually get certain emotions and those emotions were the same that I felt when I first listened to those „interpretations“ of my texts through an AI system, so though I might not translate my exact inner emotions and bring it into reality through a technical skill, I still approve emotionally if a song comes close to my desired intent. So even though we both, creator and listener do not share emotions that came out of me, we are both interestingly sharing emotions of my creation nonetheless.
